1. Bags for Cleanroom Materials
This is a success story of Y Company, a manufacturer of textile products used in cleanrooms.

Y Company uses textile products in cleanrooms, and they have chosen IPP bags to maintain cleanliness.

IPP refers to inflated polypropylene.

Unlike air-cooled polyethylene, polypropylene has a high melting point, and water cooling is chosen for inflation manufacturing.

As a result, the film surface is washed away, resulting in a film with excellent cleanliness.

Y Company has been using our IPP bags for over 10 years.

2. Life in the Philippines Diary
This time, I would like to talk about the difference in prices between Japan and the Philippines.

I remember that a few years ago, prices in the Philippines were cheaper than in Japan in every aspect. Many Japanese people recognized the Philippines as a “country with low prices.” However, due to recent inflation and the weak yen, that perception is changing.

Living expenses have been rising over the past few years, with food, electricity, and all other goods and services showing noticeable increases.

The value of the yen against the Philippine peso has also declined, making prices in the Philippines appear relatively high from a Japanese perspective. When I first arrived here, 1 peso was equal to 2.16 yen, but now it’s 2.68 yen.

When I returned to Japan for a short visit last month, prices were generally higher than before, but I felt that they hadn’t risen as much as in the Philippines.

I saw a Filipino traveler being interviewed on TV news saying, “Everything in Japan is cheap and good quality,” and I realized that it was indeed true.

When I went to Umeda and Namba in Osaka, I often heard Tagalog and realized that many Filipinos were visiting Japan.

I will continue to enjoy my life in the Philippines and explore the differences and similarities between Japan and the Philippines.
