I would like to introduce some successful cases where our packaging materials have helped our customers solve their problems.
◆Improvement Case◆
This time, we will introduce an improvement case related to electronic components. In recent years, electronic components such as those for smartphones have become larger in capacity and smaller in size.
Along with this, the level of foreign matter control required has become more detailed, and the manufacturing environment has also changed to advanced clean rooms.
In such an environment, we want to remove even fine foreign matter, but the challenge is the adhesion of foreign matter due to static electricity.
In particular, films such as those used for poly bags have the inherent property of being an “insulator,” which means they do not conduct electricity easily. Therefore, they tend to accumulate static electricity, and there is the challenge that they easily attract foreign matter when they become charged.
The solution to this challenge is “anti-static poly bags.” As the name suggests, they prevent static electricity from accumulating on the film. If you blow off dust, etc. from the poly bag with an air shower, it becomes less likely to re-adhere.

◆Philippine Life Diary◆
In this issue, I will introduce you to my current passion, golf.
Golf is a sport where you hit a stationary ball with a club and compete to see how few strokes you can get it into the target hole.
The reason I started playing golf was that my colleague was playing golf and told me that there are many opportunities to play in the Philippines.
When I actually tried golf, it was more fun than I imagined. I will introduce three reasons why I am so passionate about it.
The first reason is that the process of improving is enjoyable. When I started, I had many mishits, and things often didn’t go as I planned. However, it is most enjoyable to think about the causes of those failures, practice, and overcome them.
The second reason is that the scenery on the golf course is beautiful, and going around the course refreshes both my mind and body. Also, since the Philippines has a warm climate and it doesn’t get cold, I can always play in a warm environment.
The third reason is the high level of strategy due to the course design. It’s not simply about aiming for the shortest distance; the strategy differs depending on the characteristics of the course. You are required to play the course while considering your own skills.
For these reasons, I am passionate about golf. Since I don’t have a membership, the golf courses I’ve played at so far are mainly public ones like KC and South Forbes.
I’ve heard that there are many other golf courses, so I hope to visit them someday.
