1. Thick Plastic Bags Used by Construction Companies
This case study features S Company, a construction company.

In addition to construction, S Company also carries out building demolition.

Various waste materials generated during demolition are subject to legal regulations regarding disposal and transportation methods.

While plastic bags are sometimes used, they need to be securely packaged and must not tear in certain situations.

S Company requested a film thickness of 0.15 mm.

A thickness of 0.15 mm is considered “extremely thick” for plastic bags and is rarely seen. However, they requested this thickness because they absolutely wanted to “prevent tearing.”

Unfortunately, even with a thickness of 0.15 mm, we cannot guarantee that the bag will not tear.

However, thick, strong films are effective for packaging items with protrusions, items that must not leak out of the bag, and heavy objects.

Although it has a hard and stiff feel, the “0.15 mm thick” plastic bag provides a sense of security.

2. Life in the Philippines Diary
This month, I would like to talk about my struggles and triumphs with golf.

Just when I thought I was getting better at golf and having fun, I hit a terrifying wall called a shank.

I was in shank hell, and my irons would only go right and right. Every time I swung the iron, the ball would fly to the right at an unbelievable angle… I even experienced three consecutive OBs (out of bounds), and it was so terrifying that I felt afraid to swing the golf club.

I couldn’t enjoy golf like this. I immediately started working on overcoming the shank at the driving range. However, practicing blindly did not lead to a fundamental solution… I searched for shank countermeasure videos on YouTube and identified the cause.

The causes were my grip and head-up motion. By changing my grip and making sure to keep my head down through impact, the shank dramatically improved.

Recently, I have stopped shanking and started enjoying golf again. I would like to take this opportunity to work hard and aim for a new best score!
