1. Color-Coded Plastic Bags
This success story features S Company, a chemical manufacturer.
S Company uses colored plastic bags, such as red, blue, and yellow, to sort various materials.
This is because it allows for instant “recognition” of what it is at a glance.
By making the colors clearly different visually, they prevent mistakes.
The film is colored by adding pigment to the polyethylene resin.
For coloring, about 3 to 5% pigment is added to the raw material.

2. Life in the Philippines Diary
In this issue, I will talk about Coco Ichibanya.
A new Coco Ichibanya has opened in Alabang Town Center. There are already several stores in Makati, but this is the first one in Alabang.
I ordered the pork cutlet curry at Coco Ichibanya. It was delicious and I finished it quickly. You can freely choose the spice level and toppings, and it felt very similar to the stores in Japan.
However, there was one thing that surprised me. The interior of the store was completely different.
In Japan, there are rows of counter seats that emphasize efficiency. On the other hand, in the Philippines, table seats are the main feature, and there is a spacious and relaxed atmosphere.
The atmosphere is like a fashionable restaurant. It was a bit strange for me, who is used to eating in Japan, but it was also a fresh experience.
In the Philippines, famous Japanese restaurant chains such as “Marugame Seimen,” “Sukiya,” and “Yayoi-ken” are rapidly expanding. I feel that a Japanese food boom is coming.
You can enjoy Japanese food anywhere, and I think it is becoming a comfortable environment for Japanese people to live in.
I hope Coco Ichibanya will open a store near Santa Rosa, which is close to our company.
