Most of our customers are in the manufacturing industry, and in many cases, our polyethylene bags are used within factories.
This time, we will introduce a success story from Company G, a machinery manufacturer.
In the process of manufacturing machinery, Company G generates metal waste (scrap) in various shapes.
There are various storage methods for waste, but in the case of waste with powder or liquid adhering to it, they were putting it in polyethylene bags.
However, commercially available garbage bags would tear easily. There was the drawback that they would tear immediately if the metal parts had sharp edges or were heavy.
So, we proposed a “thick” poly bag with a film thickness of 0.2 mm.
A thickness of 0.2 mm is the maximum thickness when forming polyethylene film (and requires special manufacturing equipment). With a thickness of 0.2 mm, it’s naturally not easy to tear.
Company G also uses these thick poly bags as “unbreakable garbage bags” for heavy or sharp-edged waste.

2. Philippine Life Diary
In this issue, I’d like to share about how I plan to spend the New Year’s holiday.
I’ve decided to stay in the Philippines for this year’s New Year’s holiday and not return to Japan temporarily. With the discovery of the Omicron variant and the unpredictable quarantine measures in various countries, I gave up on the idea.
During the New Year’s holiday, I want to focus on practicing golf. I haven’t been able to play as well as I’d like recently, and I haven’t achieved my best score in about half a year.
I don’t quite understand what I’m doing wrong, so I’m thinking of asking an instructor for advice and making improvements.
I’ve heard that unlike in Japan, fireworks go off all over the city during the New Year’s Eve countdown, so I’m looking forward to it as a new cultural experience.
For those who are temporarily returning to Japan, I sincerely hope you have a safe trip back.
